Hello, I am new to this board and new to shooting evolvers. A couple of weeks ago I bought a 6" DW 357 Mag from my local gun store. I shot off 50 38 specials at the range and the gun seemed great. However after cleaning it I dry fired about 50 times and about 3 times out of the 50 the trigger would not reset. It just stayed stuck in and as soon as I touched the hammer the trigger would reset back to normal. Like I say I am completely new to revolvers and wondering what is up with my new toy?

My guess would be you need to take the side plate off and clean the innards. You should be able to search this forum and find instructions.
I've read that is not difficult.

Here is a good picture of the model 15 inner workings. I took mine apart once to replace a week main spring. The only problem I had was exactly how the small coil spring than holds the trigger foward. The hammer assembly has to be lifted slightly and the small end of the coil goes underneath in a relieved spot.. Here is a nice picture. Foun it on the web somewhere,

Thanks for the info guys. I will give it a good cleaning as soon as I get the barrel tool.
