has anyone ever tried to reload the 35 grain v max in a 223 shell...i would like to do this...but can find where anyone has tried

I have had the same thought, and even trying them in my .222 Rem. I'm currently shooting Nosler 40 gr. BT in both my .223 Contender and my 788 in .222.
 A shooting partner of mine tried them in his 22-250 or his 22BR I can't remember which on though. He said they shot alright but I know he didn't switch over to them.
 I will have to get a handful and try them at 222 and 223 velocities and see what happens. I guess there is some kind of data in the latest Hornady book.
 If I ever try it, I will post the info.

AA-1680 From 18.4 grains to 20.4 grains

AA-2015 From 22.2 grains to 24.7 grains
 Remington 7-1/2 Primer
AA-2230 From 25.2 grains to 28.0 grains
 Remington 7-1/2 Primer
AA-5744 From 18.8 grains to 20.9 grains
 Remington 7-1/2 Primer
