Tamer Stock Shell Holders
« on: March 14, 2006, 11:42:30 PM »
Does anyone know if the shell holder from the Tamer stocks is interchangeable?  Will one stock and different size shell holders do it or do you need to buy a Tamer stock separate for each gauge...12, 20, or 410?   I assume that you would also need to change the forearm if you went up from a 410...is this correct?  If anyone has Tamers of more than 1 size could check this out?  Thanks

 Cookieman, according to the Gun Parts Corp cat. each Tamer stock is made for a certain guage. They carry the 12 and 410 stocks-$25.70  ea. Hope this helps. Hunman55

YEP!!  Knew that,  not the price.  Just thought maybe a guy could just buy 1 butt stock for 'say' the 12ga and then just switch out the shell holder for the 410 shell holder.  Don't know about the 12ga but the 410 is held on by 2 screws.

You should email choate since they make the stocks. They have always been responsive to my questions.
