Sounds like I have some new guns to try out once the snow melts, if you keep them that long that is. What caliber is the Bisley? You don't have to put the checkbbok away just carry a fire extinguisher with you when you go shopping.

Lloyd,
With those mirror polished Vaqueros, what's the best way to remove the light scratches that show up so easily?

bisley is a 7.5 blued ajs sight 44 mag and its like new and ugly as hell! You know what i think of those long barrels!! Im going to have to start taking your checkbook along steve! Were going to have to have a sit down with your wife and work something out!! Dont know about the polished rugers as the two other i have had have been customized and as a part of it were bead blasted. I would guess thought that a guy could try some auto chrome polish or fitz polish. I know fitz works good on blued guns. Just dont get carried away with it. Mostly i just shoot em hose em off and put em away for next time. Never was one to spend good shootin time cleaning guns. Beem wanting to play with black powder in a cartridge gun for a while and maybe this will work out well.
