I found an older Weaver Challenger riflescope.   Can anybody tell me anything about this line?

I found one at a gun shop several months ago and made the same inquiry.  Didn't get any response.

The one I saw was a decent looking scope i.e. steel tube, clear optics.  The shop wanted $40 for it and about a month ago it was still there.
