single action revolvers
« on: April 11, 2003, 08:52:56 PM »
I just sort of wandered in and I was wondering if anyone could say a few words about Ruger single action revolvers I am thinking about a Bisley in .357. How does it compare to similar sixguns? We are getting new handgun laws in Orstralyuh which will mean that  lager calibers will be restricted to specific matches, so I think a .357 would be more versatile.Oh yeah, while I'm still on .357's has anyone got anything to say about one in a Browning B92?
Ya'll take it easy, hear!

Just my 2 cents:  Rugers are built like a tank and weigh about the same.  They are larger than the Colts and clones.  Have the transfer bar built in.
Cheaper than the real Colts, but a bit more expensive than the imports.
Personally, I like mine but then I'm prejudiced

Also forgot to mention that the Bisley grip is usually better for one hand shooting vs the regular/standard one.
Sorry to hear about the large caliber limitations.  Just how is that supposed to work?
Right now I'm limited to what I can get past the Mrs. on the credit card

You know, someone voted those idiots in and they can be voted out again.  Time for some common sense gun laws.  Nuff said.  44 Man

44 man, if you're thinkin of coming out to Oz you better change your name to 38 man or you won't exist. Our Johnnie is going to say the magic word and everthing over .38 will vanish (at least stuff owned by registered target shooters). It's quite amazing when you think of it.
