Value of older model 657 41 mag
« on: April 01, 2006, 07:56:17 AM »
I posted this same question elsewhere, but wanted to try both venues.  I'm just curious what some of you would think the value of a S&W model 657 41 mag with the 6" barrel would be?  This is an older 1987 vintage one that is excellent, probably 98% or better.  Are these very much sought after in this configuration?  I know prices vary alot from region to region, but wanted some opinions on this.   thanks   wyatte

:D Take a look at some of the auction sites (Auctionarms.com, gunbrokers.com)  First, you don't see a lot of Smith .41s for sale, when you do, a 95-99% gun will range from $450. up.  If you make gun shows, just think of the number you have seen for sale, I would bet it hasn't been many.  Supply and demand drives the price.
