Lee slug mould

I have a Lee slug mould on order as well as a rifle sighted improved cylinder barrel for my 870.

What powders and charges etc have worked well with the Lee mould?

Can wheel weight lead be used?

Maximum range I am concerned about is around 50 yds.

I've used Alliant's data for the LEE slug, data should be on their website. Disremember exactly what they call for, Blue Dot I think. Not at home right now so I can't look it up. I found that by dropping a grain from their listed charge weight made the slugs print much closer groups. I cast them from wheelweight.
