remington 700 trigger removal and bedding kit

I haven't found how to do this anywhere on the internet.  I got a bedding kit and have to remove the trigger assembly.  Do I just hammer out the pins?  Any last minute advice?

Removing the trigger is a fairly easy proposal, although there are several sub systems that are also removed. I have attached a link to a parts diagram. Removing the pins #5 and 40 Will drop the trigger assembly. Be cautious the Sear, #39 and it's spring #41 are also released by the front pin. The rear pin also releases the bolt stop and it's spring. Carefully study the positioning of that little hair sprin that powers the bolt stop.. Also pay close attention to the relationship of the boltstop to the bolt stop release #6. Many times I don't remove the trigger for bedding. I tape the thing shut and protect with paste wax which is what I use for release agent. However it is not a bad idea and may some day save some heartache...

Thanks for the advice.  
I am glad to hear that someone tapes the assembly without removing it.  I have been working myself up to doing this for a few months now.  I think that I bought the kit in July of 05.  I was surprised last night when I got to the page in the instructions and read to remove the trigger.  I would swear that I saw the trigger taped when I looked the first time on the internet (that Pablito guy maybe).  I will study on it and try to do it tomorrow night (have to work tonight).  After a frustrating couple of hours with a Carter Quadrajet I am leary of anything involving springs and subassemblies.

Replacing the trigger can get a little compicated because of the extra parts. Also the bolt stop return spring can be frustrating. When I don't remove the trigger I securely tape it up with masking tape and wax the tape. I most usually don't bed the trigger area so don't bother filling the relief cut in the stock or adding clay to add the clearance to the bedding mix.. Most often any bedding that runs into the trigger cut is removed at trim out time..  The most important step in the instructions is the reminder to use the release agent liberally. I much preffer wax to the skin type releaase agent supplied with the kit.  Good luck on your first bedding job.

Dude, that is an awesome link.  I will definately save that one.  I went with Gunnut's advice and taped and waxed it.
