Any audio guys on here
« on: November 06, 2011, 05:26:39 AM »
After relocating and getting in my new digs,I've decided i want(need)a surround sound for the big screen.60"mitsibushi.I've been looking at the Bose set up that Sams has.$800.00 bucks, but does sound great.Any info on a cheaper setup that sounds good and has a good bass that's wireless.Money is a object so no high end setups. It's going down in a basement entertainment area. Thanks

Son-in-law has a Samsung that came from Sam's but it's a couple of years old. I don't remember the cost but it certainly wasn't that much. It's a very good unit and capable of blowing you right out of the room. Good clear sound and more bass than I can stand.

Personally if I could afford the Bose that's what I would go with. Their stuff is really good.

I doubt you will regret it. I have a 60" LG with a Sony surround system. It has pretty good bass and is crystal clear but I've reached the point where any background noise keeps me from understanding speech. To keep from running my wife nuts asking her "what did they say" all the time I got a set of Sony wireless headphones. They pretty well ruin the surround effect. I can still feel the bass but I hear everything else in stereo. At least I know what is said though.
