I'm a new member and this is my first post. I've lurked for a long time and really do enjoy the Handi rifle stuff. I have wanted a 1894P for some time. I first saw one at a gun show several years back and didn't buy it. I've kicked myself ever since. Recentley while seaching for one on the internet I discovered the 1894SS LTD. This gun was a very limited run. I bought one from a shop in Houston and have owned it for a few months. My problem is this. I have yet to shoot it. I hate to mess up it's collectors value. I bought it to hunt with. What do you guy's think? Does anyone else have this gun and how does it shoot.

Shoot it. Marlins will hold their value. Even NIB you wont get much more out of it than you will if you shoot it.
