difference between blue/silver streak and benjamin 392?
« on: March 13, 2006, 01:20:37 AM »
i know the streaks are .20 cal and the 392 is a .22 cal and there's a very little bit of cosmetic difference ...but is there a internal difference between the guns ? is the piston or seals different ? they both have walnut stocks and rifled brass barrels .
i guess the main question is ..can i (or the typical user) tell a difference between them as far as power-accuracy  and durability go ?
if the answer is no or very little difference..whats the opinion of the referb 932's out there ? seems like the potiental for a really great deal .
   thanks for your opinions

If you are referring to the 392, theres no difference between the Benjamin and the Sheridan aside from caliber. Both have the same working parts and internals.  The 392 makes a bit more power, but its not really enough so that you'd notice without testing with a chronograph. Crosman no longer puts walnut on either the Benji or the Sheridan. The remans are a crapshoot. Some are ok, some have problems.
