To all of my brothers
To GBO
To "Quick"
To MSP Ret

Here's to "good Ole" general Guinness
God bless'im
he's beloved in all of Ireland and
all of Scotland too
he's the freedom of the "toon" of Aberdeen
and the gates of Duneen
he'll warm your heart like good Scot's broth
So, here's to "god ole" General Guinness
for, he's turned the Firth of Forth into the Firth of Froth

Here's to "good Ole" General Guiness
he stood with the Greys and Meunsters on the bloody fields of Waterloo
and stood with dead Nelson at Trafalgar
as he fired and rammed his thirty two
he stood with Anzacs and Kiwis against "Jhonnie Turk"
in the butchery of Gallipoli
he stormed the beaches with Tommy Atkins
in that place men call Normandy
so, here's to "good Ole" General Guinness
he's haled in all the ranks
for he does his duty in the casks as well as in the tanks

He's worth ten millions plus the medals upon his chest
And all of the ladies that love him
think that he's the best
From Mollie Malone
to the Mademoiselle of Armentierres
they'll lift a glass to
"good Ole" General Guinness
for he's the pride of the Dublin Boozeliers
