Cheap 223 rig
« on: March 24, 2006, 11:56:42 PM »
I went all out on this rig ,  :-D

1 ) Barska 6.5 x 20 x 50 scope

2 ) 3 boxes of Wolf ammo

3 ) set of high Weaver rings

4 ) cleaning kit

5 ) bottle of Hoppies # 9

Total $ 120.05 at MC Sports , know to see if i can do anything with this set up .

I know it is just about as cheap as someone can go , but i know that i can do a good job with better stuff , so i'll see if it can be done on a budget .

And if it does not work i have a Bushnell 4200 to put on it and some WWB ammo , so let the test begin .

I've got a Barska on my fave 10/22 that has worked great.
Really great- I use it for small bore Silhouette competition and have dialed through the clicks hundreds of times and it always holds zero.
Very impressive cheapo scope (unlike the BSA which failed...).
