I just returned from my favorite shooting supply store with a, Custom Shop 6mm Tcu, 14 and a Rynite Forend and scope base.  it is used, but I couldn't find any sign of use. I paid $145.00. Did I do well?

Indeed you did real well. No doubt there will be people offering you more than the amount you paid for it should you decide to sell it at some future time.
