Weathermaster???

Does anyone have either a 7400 or 7600 that Remington called a "Weathermaster" with the stain nickel-like finish? If so, have you found it more durable than other finishes?

I found a 7600 Weathermaster in .308 Winchester over the weekend, and I was kinda surprised. I never saw a 7600 advertised as a Weathermaster, and I thought even the 7400's were only available in .30-06.

Will you tell me where you saw this,  I been trying to find one for a while now in California.  Can you give me information about the store.  Name and #.  I'm willing to pay FFL transfer fee if I have too.  It costs $100.00 out here for dealer to recieve.  If there are any other Hunters from CA who know where one is being sold here in the state please help me.  Thanks

I don't have any problem telling you, but I don't know if you would be able to do a dealer-to-dealer transfer, considering where it is.  You might have to find a friendly, cooperative, fellow hog-hunting board member to help out  :grin: By the way, I see these fairly regularly. If you'd rather have a .30-06, I'll keep an eye out.

Shoot me a PM and I'll give you the details. It was still there as of Monday of this week.
