Help, need Lyman GP set trigger adj screw
« on: April 01, 2006, 05:47:09 AM »
I lost the dang set trigger adj screw from my Lyman GP rifle. I know I can contact Lyman on Monday but I'm trying to avoid that. Past dealings with Lyman CS dept. have been frustrating to say the least. In the end, I get what I need but it takes a loooooooooooooog time.    Any way, if any of you have a spare you would be willing to part with, drop me a line and I'll certainly pay for it. Too, if you happen to know what size and pitch it is, perhaps I can locate one locally.

gosh,,i cain't remember the size,,(3mmx1.5mm?)  i do know it's a goofey metric size. They use the same size screws in old cassete tape players.
the thread is 1mm or 1.5mm. don't force it. it'll either fit er not. wish I could help more
i'm a realist. i've not seen it all, but man ,,I've Been Around the block once or twice

Help, need Lyman GP set trigger adj screw

Well, I solved the problem. The screw fell out because the guy who had the rifle before me buggered up the hole. So, I went to Track of the Wolf and orderd a new trigger assembly for $12.00. Cheap, and effecient. I thank you all for your help. I'll post the exact screw size after I receive it and measure it. I fgure some of you might like to know just for kicks and giggles.
