I have tried to click on several threads and it is so slow they won't even open up. These are not locked topics either. My computer isn't doing it with other sites and it even opened this new topic fairly quick.
Just a heads up.

If Matt is still doing the web work you might, you might get a hold of him.
This happens from time to time. I don't know enough about websites to have a clue what is going on when it does happen though.

Sometimes a server runs slow, sometimes it's overloaded, usually just gotta wait it out...

The search engines have been on us like white on rice lately. This morning I noticed it was pretty slow so did a check and we had three different search engines spidering us at the same time, Google, MSN and I forget what the other was. That's kinda like having about 300 folks on at the same time when they hit like that. But search engines are a necessary evil so we have to let them spider us. Google never leaves us. It takes them 7 days to completely spider the site I think Matt said and they do it once every five days so Google is on us 24/7.

I think tho he is still having a wee bit of delay with the new forums software we're now using. It's a real boon to our advertisers and is good for us too but I think is generating a bit of over head he is gonna hafta keep cleaned out.
