New Defender is home!

Well, we brought her home last week.  Colt Defender and I love it!  Made a few minor changes.  Of course I needed a short trigger, but I also put in an extended mag release, McCormik safety and Wilson 'drop in' grip safety.  She's wearing Hogue 'Kingwood' grips and a Pearce finger groove insert.  I also checkered the polymer mainspring housing.  She works good!

Probably can't part with this one Lloyd.  For my 20 year anniversary with C&S a couple weeks ago, they gave me a $2000 Harley diamond ring and a $1000 gift certificate for Jay's.  (Hmmm, could you just make that a $3000 gift certificate for Jays?)  Very generous of them.  So that Defender is sort of a gift from the boss.  (Damn, now I'll have to quit calling him cheap)  I'd be hard pressed to part with it.

Of course you do have that Kimber CDP............

Jay's does have a CDP in the Commander size I have been looking at.  That may have to be the next one on layaway.  I don't have a Commander size at the moment.

Well Dusty, you may have to wait for me to retire first!  I work at C&S Sports Center (no, we don't sell guns darn it, Harley Davidsons)  It's not like a 'real' job.  I almost feel like Santa Claus because the customers are so happy to finally get something they have waited often years for.  Except I get to take their money!  Take care.  44 Man
