Scope problems
« on: March 28, 2006, 09:04:34 AM »
Took my pro-hunter barrel out to the range today. Problem is at 25 yards(starting point) its shooting 1/2" low and 1/2" right and I've run out of ajustment on both elevation and windage. Any help  with this problem would be greatly apprecated.

I recently had to put a taller front sight on an Encore barrel to get it to work. It was shooting way high. You may need a shorter one, but I can't imagine why you would run out of windage adjustment unless something is wrong with were the sight screw holes are drilled.

Larry,
You might try turning the rings around and swapping the front to the back.
I had that problem once and it was the cheap rings.  I finally put on a different set of rings and was able to zero the scope.

Opps, I thought you were using iron sights. James has a good suggestion.
