I did a search and I'm even more confuised!  What or how and what should be used to clean the bore after shooting corrsive primers? Considering M48 and surplus ammo.

Cleaning after shooting corrosive

The most accepted and probably the most convenient way to assure yourself that you have removed the hygroscopic salts residue after shooting corrosive ammunition is to swab the bore with Windex or a mixture of ammomia and water.I carry a squirt bottle with me to the range and after shooting I squirt a generous amount down the bore.
Then when I get home I clean normally.Never had a problem.

that is what I do, and I have also used water with a few drops of hand dishwashing soap in it.

Rinse liberally and swab out with patch and dry and you should be good to go.

the important thing is to "flood" the area in question so the "salts" from the corrosive primers is washed away or "neutralized"

Yesterday I just had plain drinking water on hand, washed bolt and brl off by "hosing' down and it was good to go till the next day when I cleaned it thouroughly.

Blammer,
Question concerning corrosive salts:  Is it wise to disassemble and clean the bolt when cleaning the bore or do you feel that a swab across the bolt-face adequate?

SavageT - Hey - how ya doin' buddy????  As you know it is eay to disassemble the bolt on a Mauser, be it a 96 Swede or 98.  I would, and have disassembled my bolts to make sure they don't corrode after using corrosive ammo.
