I have a .243 110 dl I puchased in 1970. this summer I hope to convert it to a 6.5x55 Swede. I have ordered a Kreiger barrel which a gunsmith will turn and put on. He will have to lengthen the magazine to allow for the additional length. I was going to do it wih another long action savage that is a '06; however, it shoots to good. I have another .243 in a Ruger 1 manlicher. I could have gone to 260, but I think the swede is a little better.
