I thought I had seen some snap on hi-viz/ tru-glow front sights for shotguns with ribs at my local wal-mart.

Will these work well on a TDC shotgun? If not, then will any brand?

They are actually magnetic and yes they will work. Measure the width of the rib and buy the correct size. I had one on an 870 and it worked well. My nephew is now using it on his Pardner Pump.

I think you can buy a set that includes both front and rear sights.
