ruger 44 mag. carbine parts
« on: March 27, 2006, 02:40:59 PM »
Hello everyone,

I am looking for a lifter assembly for an older ruger 44 mag carbine (according to serial #, manufactured in 1971). Does anyone know of any place online where I can order parts? I inherited this rifle when my dad passed away a couple years ago, and I would like to get it working again. I have many fond memories of deer seasons spent following dad through the woods when I was a kid...watched him knock down more than a few deer with this rifle. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ruger may be worth contacting.
Also, try Numrich Gun Parts:

Good luck

Go to the Rugerforum.com.  There is a Carbine section.  There are lots of collectors and posters with parts.
