i have two. one shakespeare true blue 1956 model fe baitcaster chrome color still has old colored line on it. the other is oceancity 90 automatic still has old colored line on it needs a good cleaning. Wanting to trade for trapping supplies(fox stretchers,urine,etc.) but will consider all trades.

i have been collecting old fishing stuff for some years now.  i have steel rods plus some telescopic steel fly and regular rods too. I have some engraved fancy old casting reels too.  I also have some wood fishing lures plus the very first plastic lures too.  Some of the early plastic lures look weird because of the shapes they were made in.  I go to flea markets, pawn shops and antique shops while on vacation with the misses. She likes to browse antique shops and that got me into collecting old fishing stuff too. Estate sales are another place to look too.  Its fun to collect the old stuff.

Hello Dman, So tell me what they're worth, I have a few of my Grandfathers old jitterbugs that are made of wood! not in the greatest cond. I'd say 50-70%
