« on: March 31, 2006, 06:39:44 AM »
This was shot 30 miles from Ottawa, Canada in 1933 Oct with a Rem 30s by my uncle who passed gun on to me, quite a gun still can group 3" at 300 yards. i asked my uncle how much this wolf weighed he said it was well over 100lbs and I had no doubt not to believe him.
hope you enjoy.
I am trying to get picture of buck from slide on to computer shot a few years ago by my brother 31" wide white tail

Can you still shoot wolves in Canada today or are they off limits as they are here in the states at least in WI  :(   Wish you could shoot them here I have no use for the damn things!
Said I never had much use for one, never said I didn't know how to use it.

Nice picture yup thats a big one for sure.

I said this many years ago those coyotes don't look like yotes anymore there too big.  And sure enough there was an article soon after that the Canadian wolves crossed our nothern borders (NY & VT) and are in the US now too. It won't be long the'll be in the woods near you too. I also read they are interbreeding with the yotes making a larger yote/wolf animal too.  The ones i seen are the size of a female german shepard. We know that the size may vary do to food source too.

Besides the wolves making a comeback the mountainlions are too in larger numbers too.
