I have lurked a while and made a post or two but I havent gotten round to introducing myself and did not want to be rude.

I live in Northern Maine

I am an instructor of computer networking by trade

I do knifemaking and leatherwork as a hobby business (if you would like to see examples please see www.kidcouteau.com )

I used to do cowboy action shooting

Presently enjoying survival firearms and NEF rifles and shotguns.

I also like primitive skills and alternate energy sources.

I hope I am welcome, may I get off my horse and sit a spell?

Hi

Well so far i have one little solar panel, an inverter and a charge controller.  Still need a battery.

Just got a pellet stove

Am hoping to make a cottage at my place that is pretty much self sufficient.
