stuffed morels

get yourself a bowl and mix up some creamcheese, sausage(precooked),jalopeno, and some huckleberries(not to many though just enough to add a little hint of a taste). then stuff it in some large morel mushrooms. bread the mushrooms and deep fry....ooooh its good.

here in wester Pa, our morels are ready in mid May and the Huckelberry's are not ripe till july ( if we can beat the turkey's to them) how do we keep the morels till the berrys are ready? the morel type shrooms here in July are poisenios!!!!!!!!

id say freeze em but im not sure. here in oregon you can pick morels all through the summer so i dont know. maybe it would be easier to freeze your huckleberries and pick morels the next year. huckleberries all year for pancakes, waffles and what not. you could also try substituting the huckleberries with something else.
