I'm having a rifle built (a 3 year wait with 1 year gone so there's plenty of time to discuss details) but thus far I know I'll have a 48" Getz swamped barrel. The caliber, however, Im still debating. I currently own both .40 and .58 flintlocks. With those two rifles I thought a .54 would fit nicely in the mix. But I have a concern about ball weight. I hunt elk each year in Colorado and they have a minimum requirement of 210 grains. Can anyone tell me if speer or hornady roundballs meet that weight requirement?
Thanks
Robin
