Go to www.winchesterguns.com and check out their 22 rifle. Anybody got any info on these,Surre looks good to me.

That sure looks interesting. I would like to be able to see one up close and personal. I wonder how it will be effected by the closing of the Winchester plant here in the USA. I wonder where it actually is made. I hope it's not China.

Dime size groups at 25 and quarter size groups at 50 is good but not that spectacular a lot of 22 rifles will do that with the right loads. Now if it was dime size at 50 they might have something.

It kinda resembles a Russian Mosin Carbine with the magazine style, bulky stock ahead of the trigger and the forward positioned bolt handle. Imagine that handle bent straight down like a Mosin.

Remington went Russian, Winchester may have as well.

Hmm ....

Anyway, I like what I see so far.

EVOC ONE, you are may be right, it kind of looks Russian to me too. Well, maybe they can get in a 17Mach2 or 17HMR that would be intesesting :shock:

The article confirms that the Wildcat is built in Russia.

I still like the looks of it. But then I fancy the Mosins as well.

It is now obvious to all who actually won the cold war. In 60 years every one we have fought in the last world war and now Russia build nearly all of our guns. I must say I will now pay more attention to the conspiracy theory folks.

Oops, Wrong rifle.. I looked in my books when I got home and it is a
TOZ-16 that it looks like
