Anyone here shoot el-cheapo WOLF 223 55 gr. hollowpoints? It's the cheapest stuff available here on Maui at $3.00 a box of 20, figure good enough for breaking in the barrel of my new Handi.

I've been shooting it. I dont see the inconsistencies that everyone else sees though. Give it a whirl and let us know what you find.

It USED to be cheap plinking ammo. Now it is not, buy something else that's cheaper and you'll be better off.

The WOLF at $3.00 a box is thee cheapest 223 ammo on the island, slim pickins here in "paradise". The other is S&B FMJ at $4.35 a box I bought 4 boxes each, i'll let you know how they shoot.

well here on the mainland, wolf is now at $4.25 or better per box and S&B is at $5.00.

If I could find it at the prices you have I'd buy all they got!
