Swift Handgun scopes.
« on: August 10, 2006, 01:44:26 PM »
I have used several Swift rifle scopes with excellent success. Has anyone tried their 2X handgun scope? I am wanting to scope my Bisley 44 Mag Hunter.
shot placement is everything.

I posted this question a little while ago but never received a response so I decided to take a chance.  I purchased the 2x handgun scope in silver to compliment the finish on my Super Blackhawk Hunter 44mag...I don't have it mounted yet so obviously I haven't shot the thing but I will post once I do...

Thanks for the reply. I will watch for your report.

I did purchase a new Nikon 2X silver Monarch to try out. Of the scopes that I looked at, this one was the best eye relief on I found.
shot placement is everything.

Hi James. I also had this same question a few months ago. So I thought I would just take a chance and see how they did on a handgun. I have the 2X as well and I mounted it on a 14" contender barrel chambered in .444 Marlin. So far the scope has help up well. I have it held down with three scope rings because of the recoil of the caliber. Although I haven't put a lot of rounds through the barrel with the scope mounted. It has held up well for the 50 or so rounds that I have shot through it. I wouldn't hesitate to put one a pistol chambered in .44 mag.
