How does the p-dog shoot work?

I am so ready to get away for a few days, meet some people, and do a lot of shooting.  I was wondering how large the p-dog towns are and how we will be divided up amongst them?  Also, on friday morning do we all meet and then depart for different towns?  What goes on in the evenings?

Last year we met at the Cole motel at 6 am I think,and divided up in to different groups with different guides,and went to the locations.
The praire dog towns I was on was about 1/2 mile square and bigger.If you use the rimfires first,you can get about 1 hr. shooting before they start staying down in there holes,and after the centerfires start going its 250 to 500 yds. shooting until about noon.
Some times you can move to a different part and spend the rest of the evening shooting.
The late evenings are usually spent at Dan's place with everyone telling there tales.Its alot of fun meeting all the guy's and listining to there tales of whoe or about a triple or double.  Digger

OR just the locals hosting a group shoot?

Will there be any special fee's, guide expenses or other costs??
Besides personal expenses, meals, rooms share of gas etc.

This is just a bunch of us good old boys from GBO getting together for some shooting and story swapping . I don't think dan and wes are going to charge us , but after last year you never know . :-D  :-D

By the way i lived out your way when i was a kid and sure miss the country , we lived in Lamar , just SE of you for a few years .

look see. You'll be shocked at how much things have changed and how many more haven't.
The feedlot interchange has all been replaced with a super hwy type some yrs ago.  No more suicide turns out there.
But, rest of 50 far as I know is still two lane and not a whole lot of changes made.

Headed south and north on 287 has all been rebuilt into a nice wide two lane concrete hwy with shoulders.  No more fighting the grooves from us truckers.

Even thru OK it's all been widened and halfway decent.  Hell man, even a wally world in east Lamar!

Still just as dry and hot as any June ever was though. Sure be nice if you'd box up some of that rain and send it back this way. Short grass is shore dry the last ten yrs.
