:D I have the Fluted in 223 and this little beauty will drive tacks. With Winchester White Box it will shoot 3/8 to 3/4 of an inch all day. Best group ever for me with a rifle is 4 shots in the sme hole at 100 yards with this rifle. I fact I like the rifle so much I see a 243 fluted in my future.  Jess

I got a .223 fluted about 2 months ago. Shot 200 + rounds and get down to 3/4 inch groups. One of my favorites! I shoot the wwb 45 gr. hollow points. Good buy in the 40 pack and good enough for ground hogs. This is the best handi I have, it fits, like it was made for me. I have a simmons 1048 44 mag scope on it and it seems to be bright and clear. The rifle is well suited to 250 yards for ground hogs. I would bet you will be very happy with the .223 fluted. Another plus is the wal mart price and only 5 days to delivery.
