I have a serious interest in this gun.  I understand it was a limtied edition from Davidson's but I cannot access any info on them.  Can someone tell me if they have any left or where I can get one?

Be honest with yourself.  Can you guarantee you would hit a paper plate at 250 yards...100 yards...50 yards?  Then you have no business replacing the plate with a live animal.

They are indeed exclusive to Davidson's.  Lipsey's had the .45 Colt Hunters.  Their website shows they have 54 currently in stock.  just have your dealer order one for you.  You should be able to pay under $500 to get one.
