As a real hunter I also was rooting for the lion. Personally I don't hunt what I can't eat and Lion never seemed to be high on my priority list. You have to give the lion a big cheer for bravery. How many would charge a group of heavily armed idiots even if they can't shoot well. I was sorry to see him finally done in. Bad video!!!

Glad I'm not the only one this time. I am a hunter also, and that scene was ridiculous. Too bad the lion didn't grab that guy by the throat and trot off into the bush to enjoy his meal. I'm surprised no one was shot in the confusion.

Sorry guys !! I just I thought the lion video was interesting and by no means thought that one was FUNNY! I agree that those idiots can't shoot and not sure which was more dangerous the Lion or being in the middle of all those bullets flying. I also don't shoot anything I can't eat or will eat me. There are a lot of ways people hunt that are (to me ) unethical. Hunting bears or cats with dogs , Baiting or using feeders, or food plots. I even saw in a hunting magazine were you could buy a trophy white tail buck alive and I guess then you put it in a high fence area for your hunters to kill. I like the idea of pre -scouting my own Deer or Elk and hunting and shooting under fair chase conditions. Each year my boys and I backpack into a wilderness area and bowhunt and fly fish for a week. That's the way I enjoy hunting . Its a disgrace to me some of the ways some so called sportsmen hunt. Some people will do ANYTHING for a Trophy !! It's a real shame.

Those photos are from our hunting trip in Trinity Alps of California.
It has some of the most beautiful country I have ever seen. The Lake we stayed at was 7 miles from the trail head. I hope to do some backpacking with our muzzle loaders her in Utah. Those trips into the Trinity Alps were such a blast . Hunting morning and evening and Fly fishing during the middle of the day.
