Sounds like if the windage is off, you will need to tap the rear a tad to the right to bring it on in. It is dovetailed. You can move the front sight also, your choice.
As far as sights go, for mine I installed the Marbles full buckhorn on the rear and the Williams front sight with the 1/8" bead in brass. Old tired eyes, it makes for faster aquisition in my case.
Also for about $125 Marbles make a dandy tang sight for the 1894 too. I think you need to drill one hole though. :grin:
