My son recently purchased a mossberg 535 at Dick's sporting goods. The add showed a tru glo red dot mounted on the rib of the 22" barrel. When we got it home it had weaver mounts for the receiver. The problem with the receiver mount is that it poses a problem when switching the 22" for the 28" when upland or waterfowl hunting. It was a great deal and the gun throws a very dense pattern. I would like him to be able to use the red dot and take it off with the barrel when not turkey hunting. I emailed Mossberg's customer service last week and am dissapointed that they have not responded. Does anyone know if there is a rib mount for the tru glo red dot? Please let me know.
