question on mildot scope

the instructions that came with my scope say that there is 3.8" between dots at 10x,does this mean there would be 1.9" between at 20x..??????

well by all technicalities ya it should be i think, but 3.6"between dots@100yrds is what i knew anyway as the correct setting (8pwr maybe) to make rangefindings with the reticle.
