Just one more indication that the G2 is a fantasy and will never happen. No it has no bearing on this Forum. Heck more folks talk about the Encore here than the Contender anyway.

This is why I sold off my contender carbine a year or so ago. Not that I  think the contender parts &  or service would disappear, but I wanted the encore. It has a cocking feature that is worth the trade,,, I think. Still ain't got no Encore yet!!!!!!! Gots me a lever now and that will take up some time on the old dirt range
