Hammer duplication
« on: April 16, 2006, 08:14:40 PM »
I have a rifle hammer I may need duplicated. I'm starting to look around to see what this might cost as replacement from factory could be quite spendy.

If anyone knows of reputable firms and individuals who do this sort of thing, please let me know.

What is the exact make and model gun you need the hammer for?

Generally speaking, it is much more expensive to custom machine and fit a part (such as a hammer) than it is to buy a manufactured one.

Carphunter- As was already said if the hammer is available from the maker or a parts seller it'll most certainly ne a bunch cheaper than making one from scratch..
