I recently inherited a model 100 in .243 =1965 It is in excellant shape all original blueing good stock with the basket weave and oak leaves.I am not a gun expert and am really unfamiliar with semi autos of this type.I can not get the bolt to come back or the safety to engage.Also the trigger is in the full back position.Any ideas??I am going to take it to a smith but dont want to look like an idiot if its something minor.Thanks !
