Well, if you are using it for pest control, and you want a pneumatic pump, get a Crosman 1377 single shot. Shoots a .177 caliber pellet at 600 fps - or so they say. Saw one the other day for $50. If you want something that is powered by co2, then get a Crosman 2240 pistol. This one shoots a .22 caliber pellet in the 500 fps range, and also runs about $50. If you are just looking for something to punch paper or shoot cans with, then get whatever you like. I have a 1322 (the .22 caliber version of the 1377) and it is a great gun. Accurate, hard hitting. I plan on using it to keep the rabbits out of my garden this spring - should be fun!
