Looking for opinions on Mossberg 695 12 GA

Hello all,

New to the forums.

I'm looking at a 695 at a local pawn shop for less than 2 bills.

I was wondering if any has any experiences, good or bad with these.

I am aware there was a recall, but other than that?

One of my pards uses a 695 and other than muzzle flash from the porting, thinks it is just fine. If it is in good shape, and feels good when you shoulde it, go for it. I've not used one since I prefer the rifled barrels/cantilever mounts which I can mount on my other shotguns such as my pump and autoloader which gives me a quick follow-up shot if for some reason I happen to muff the first.
