I have to agree with the Ruger. I have seven Rugers, two Blackhawks, a Single Six, a P89, a P97, a MK II, and a 10/22. They are all great guns. I don't think you can beat them for the money. I agree with getting adjustable sights, although my MK II with fixed sights is right on at 25 yards.
I have had experience with only one Buckmark. My son had one. After he had to have it repaired twice for the same problem, he traded it off. Basically it would become a single shot. The striker would not recock when firing the gun. If you cycled it manually it would recock, but not when firing it.
