44 Mag

This the first five shots out of my new 44 mag barrel. This was at 50 yards open sites shooting Winchester White Box 240gr JSP off of a set of cross sticks. I got two barrels this round a 22 hornet and the 44mag both have ejectors. I didnt get to shoot the hornet because there is a bad storm moving in.

Rono777, I agree, you will love the Hornet.

Many years ago I had one with a full length stock and foolishly sold it.  It would shoot holes through 1/4 inch mild steel at 100 yards.  The only problem I had was that after a few loadings the case head would separate, I think I should have only neck sized the cases rather than full length size them.

PS: I found out about the holes in 1/4 inch steel when I shot my small bore steel Rams with it at 100 yards!  Couldn't understand why the Rams wouldn't fall over but had grey spots on them, found that the grey spots were holes!
