OSOK: Yes H&R's are finished a little better. Since Marlin bought them both seems that even the NEFs are coming thru with better triggers. :blaster: Duce:

I've got the handirifle in 22 Hornet topped with a Weaver 2-10 that I had on hand.I love it and the trigger on it seems to be crisp enough.Would like to hear opinions on the Ultra.

Bagger: I own a .223 in an Ultra Varmiter, I have no complaints about the rifle or how it shoots, 1/2 M.O.A. Wheather it has any advantage over the standard is questionable. My ultra does have a 2' longer barrel, 24". I do know that if portability is an issue, the Ultra Varmiter is heavy. Good Shooting:  :-D Duce:
