Best ear muffs?
« on: May 03, 2006, 03:05:57 AM »
I've got a set of excellent Peltor 29dB muffs and would like to get something at least as good in a folding muff. Do you know of any that are just excellent? I'm not looking for electronic muffs.

Headset hearing protection that is rated as high as 29NRR is normally a little more bulky that those of lesser rating. I have access to just about any kind of hearing protection sold in the US....all the big names and some you never heard of. By "folding" I assume you mean smaller...that won't happen with a 29NRR. But if you want 'top shelf' hearing protection in a headset - Bilsom Leightning L3 NRR30. You can get them for around $23.

skb2706, do you happen to know who sells those muffs? I looked at Mid South and they didn't have them, and I'm looking for a new pair of really good ones because I shoot so much now.
