Hornady Leverevolution ammo ???

Any thoughts on this new ammo?    Do you think it is the ultimate hunting round for the caliber made?  They suggest sighting in  for 3" high @ 100 yards:  With regard to 45/70 what do you think would be the short range & long range zero for the 325 grain projectile with that sight-in?  How do you think that squishy plastic tip would perform on deer, black bear, etc.?

reBAL,

I have fired three out of the four new rounds, 30-30, 35rem, 45-70.  All but the 30-30 shoot really great in my guns.  The 45-70 first time I fired it I shot a .875" group with my 1895 22" barrel.  35rem 1 1/2" group all at 100 yards the 30-30 my 336cs doesnt seem to care for it.
Once you get passed the plastic time which doesn't weigh anything you have a flat-nosed bullet with lots of umph.  The 35rem kicks like a horse so I think they have it loaded pretty tight.  I don't think I would worry about the 325gr bullet not killing any game it will do it.
I am taking it bear hunting next spring and deer hunting this fall, wish me luck.
