Gonna get 300lb. pure lead soon and want to mix  whatever to get a 30/1 mix.  I have a 20lb. pot.  So how much tin and other stuff do I mix to get the 30/1? :?

Assuming you're not kidding.  Let's do the math.  For a 30/1 mix starting with 300 pounds of lead; guess what? You need a total of 10 lbs of tin.  That was easy, now lets figure how much tin for a 20 lb pot.  Divide 300 by 20 and we get 15.  So for each 20 lbs of lead we need to add 1/15th of the tin or 2/3d of a pound.  Wasn't all that hard now was it.  So get with the castin' an go shootin:-)

Thanks Larry--Wasn't sure.  Have been using the lead from Midway already mixed.  Works good in my BP loads for CAS.  Will go to the Antimony man and order some tin.
